Wired IP surveillance camera with AI
The AJAX TurretCam (5 MP/2.8 mm)-B is a high-performance surveillance camera that impresses with its advanced technical features. With its 2.8 mm lens and impressive 110° horizontal field of view, it offers wide coverage. Thanks to the IR-cut filter, the camera operates reliably day and night. With True Wide Dynamic Range of 120 dB and Power over Ethernet (PoE), it guarantees efficient video transmission. The robust housing, with IP65 certification, promises weather resistance, while numerous mounting options are available for ceilings, walls, or surfaces. Storage options include support for microSD cards up to 256 GB. The operating temperature range is -30 °C to 60 °C.
How it works
The TurretCam is an IP camera that uses artificial intelligence (AI) for object recognition. Its algorithms can detect moving objects and distinguish between people, animals, and vehicles. The device features intelligent IR backlighting, enabling high-quality recording even in low-light conditions. The camera automatically adjusts the backlight intensity in real time to prevent overexposure, ensuring clear visibility of objects that are either too far away or too close to the camera in poor lighting conditions.
SD card
You can install a microSD card with a storage capacity of 32 GB to 256 GB (not included with the camera). An SD card version V30 or higher should be used. Alternatively, the device can be operated without a memory card or via an NVR.
Video scenarios
The Ajax system offers the option of using IP cameras for alarm verification. Video scenarios enable alarm triggers to be displayed using corresponding video footage from cameras installed in the facility. Cameras can be configured to respond to alarms from a single device, multiple devices, or all connected devices. Combined detectors can register various types of alarms, allowing you to configure responses to a wide range of alarm types, whether it's a single alarm, multiple alarms, or all alarms.
Private zones
The system offers the option to mask parts of the image. For example, if a safe is located within the recording area, a corresponding zone can be set up to record the area around the safe without revealing its contents. No movements or objects are detected or recorded within this private zone.

You have full control over the camera stream with precise privacy settings for each system user. Enjoy smooth and fast navigation with an intuitive user interface powered by advanced streaming technology. The hardware is NDAA-compliant and utilizes state-of-the-art software and artificial intelligence to deliver a sharp image every time.
Day/night function with IR-cut filter and IR LED
See what's happening in the camera's field of view day and night: This model features a day/night function that uses an IR-cut filter. During the day, the filter removes disruptive infrared light from the recording when there is sufficient light. It automatically switches off at dusk and remains inactive at night. This makes infrared light visible in the video recording, allowing you to see things that would otherwise remain hidden in the dark. Visibility is further enhanced by infrared LED illumination: This illuminates the detection area without an intruder being able to detect it.
Micro SD card reader for local video recording
Reviewing recent recordings from this camera is also possible independently of the network: A microSD card reader allows for local video storage. This gives you the option of reviewing the monitored area retrospectively should the network fail or be sabotaged.
