Wireless IR motion detector
Motion detectors are the heart of security systems. Because they play a crucial role, we developed MotionProtect Jeweller: a motion detector that is both simple and powerful, offering optimal reliability and ease of use. Its state-of-the-art hardware and software algorithms reduce false alarms to almost zero. With their slim design, the detectors blend seamlessly into any room. Wireless capabilities and the SmartBracket mounting plate simplify installation, while remote configuration eliminates the need for on-site visits to resolve minor issues.
PIR sensor
All Ajax motion detectors use PIR sensors from Excelitas Technologies, a leading American manufacturer specializing in the development and production of optoelectronic components since 1931. Ajax Systems demonstrates the high quality of these sensors during production: We test 100% of the manufactured devices. Combined with Ajax technologies, this guarantees extremely precise intrusion detection.
Special lens
The Fresnel lens sections are designed so that the analyzed infrared radiation from a human, an animal, and thermal noise exhibit clear differences. Large lens sections capture the radiation from the head and torso of an adult human. Smaller sections supplement the captured data with more detail. This arrangement enables the detector to provide precise information about the heat object within its detection range and its movement pattern.
Filters for thermal disturbances
We processed thousands of thermal images of people, animals, and the environment to develop the SmartDetect software algorithm. When the system is armed, the detector continuously analyzes the thermal image from the PIR sensor, including the intensity of the IR radiation, the size of the thermal image, the speed of movement, the time spent in the detection area, and other parameters. The algorithm identifies false alarms with high accuracy and immediately. This allows the detector to accurately detect human movement and prevent false triggers.
